Live Event Production at Comcast

I am the production assistant for Comcast's Ralph J. Roberts (RJR) Forum, our two-floor, 500-person amphitheater located in the heart of the Comcast Technology Center and named after the company's founder. My role as a co-op is providing production support and technical assistance for a variety of employee programs, including advanced screenings of Universal films, fireside chats with marquee talent, and internal meetings for different Comcast business units and stakeholders.
When I am not supporting events for Comcast, I am VP of Recruitment for my sorority, where I get to hone my event and production skills to create memorable experiences for new members joining Drexel's campus!
I recently led an employee event in the RJR Forum for Jenna Bush Hager's virtual book club, "Read with Jenna," where Jenna chooses a book and author to highlight each month. Jenna hosted Comcast employees for a book signing, meet and greet, and fireside chat with the author Chris Whitaker about his bestselling book, "All of the Colors of the Dark." The event also featured a virtual stream so her book club members could tune into the program and participate in virtual break-out rooms. My role was coordinating with the NBCUniversal team on various planning aspects, including catering, florals, the Run of Show, production schedule, transportation, security escorts for Jenna and Chris, book distributions prior to the event, and mic running for Q&A during the chat.
In preparation for the event, I acted as the main point of contact for all planning meetings, emails, and follow-up with the Read with Jenna team. I also hosted their team for a walk-through of the RJR Forum to share our teleprompter capabilities, virtual streaming offerings, and to showcase the meet-and-greet location.
When I am not supporting events for Comcast, I am VP of Recruitment for my sorority, where I get to hone my event and production skills to create memorable experiences for new members joining Drexel's campus! Whether it's a backyard BBQ or a milestone event for Comcast employees, I love planning events that create impact and bring smiles to many.
